Tonight I used Pixelmator for the first time to create a logo for my new business venture. Even though there were a couple features to get used to (after using Photoshop for about 9 years) it is a powerful, smooth and intuitive program. It absolutely zoomed on my Macbook Air 13” with 4GBs of RAM. Pixelmator costs about 5 million dollars less than Photoshop and launches in about 2 seconds....

National Geographic talks to Camp4 Collective about music video production on an iPhone.
I meant to post this a few weeks ago when someone sent it to me. This is a video shot completely on iPhone4s.
Today my boss handed me an iPhone with some photos and video on it and asked me to put a video together from it. I opened up Final Cut X on my iMac and imported photos and video… I’m not finished yet but the video looks awesome and the audio was even usable.

A friend of mine recommended the Panasonic GH2 as a good HDSLR for video. This video was shot on one. Spectacular!
